We're hiring! We are looking for an experienced post production professional to supervise our MCR department under the lead of our Technical Operations Manager, working Monday to Friday on a permanent, full time contract.

Candidates should have at least 3 years experience working within a post production facility, with an understanding of broadcast delivery standards and ideally experience supervising staff.

Role: Technical Supervisor

Main duties include:

Managing team of 4 edit assistants within MCR department

Performing QC checks on TX master files, ensuring delivery packages match delivery spec and delivering to broadcasters/distributors

Setting up workspaces and projects for new productions

Ensuring workflows are followed throughout and maintained

Assisting with technical troubleshooting

Setting up remote editors

Liaising with bookings, graphics, sound and productions

We're looking to hire a Post Production Supervisor to join our post management team. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the industry, a good operational understanding of the post production process, attention to detail, and strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. The role will also require forging and maintaining relationships with clients, supporting our post production manager in managing processes and workflows to meet client schedules and budgets, as well as ad hoc duties to support the general day to day running of the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Project management under the supervision of our Post Production Manager.

Accurately track project costs to keep clients updated of potential over/under spends.

Work across multiple productions.

Support the Post Production Manager in reviewing schedules, budgets, quotes, and workflows as required.

Liasing across departments to coordinate scheduling bookings, tasks and tracking resources.

Organise the secure distribution of review links and sessions within the facility when required.

Assist in any way necessary to progress productions through post production, maintaining clear and comprehensive communication between internal departments, clients and third-parties.

Build and maintain outstanding working relationships with all clients.

 

Requirements:

 

Experience in a fast-paced environment overseeing several projects throughout various points of production.

Proven track record of attention to detail, working under pressure, tight deadlines and strict guidelines, with strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in the industry. Experience in post production is preferred but candidates with general industry experience may be considered if other requirements are met.

An understanding of the principles of broadcast post production including offline& online editing, colour grading, dub, graphics, QC, and delivery.

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, as well as general IT competency with Windows.

Excellent numeracy, literacy, and writing skills.
